Unit 1 - Task 3 Paraphrasing

 According to Gilbert Amelio, former President and CEO of National Semiconductor Corp, necessary qualities of a leader is to have efficient and concise communication skill. Leaders should have an excellent time management, keeps tabs on project progression and convey the importance and deadlines of the task at hand. They should also be able to convey positive energy to get the team to be active and be more initiative. Failure to do so means the role of leader practically becomes a position for namesake.

    Hi Seong Ung, the paraphrased quote is well structured with good flow. However, there are some grammar errors here and there that can be improved on. The reference and citation can be added as well.

Critical Reflection

 For this effective communication module, I wanted to achieve some goals that I set. My first goal was to learn structural and mental preparation for public speaking. My second goal was to get confidence in speaking out and have an interactive presentation with the audience. For presentation preparation, I had difficulty preparing fully to present smoothly with confidence. Throughout this module, I had many opportunities to speak out in front of my classmates. These opportunities made me get used to the environment. It mentally helped me in being less nervous during presentations and in getting some confidence in speaking out.
